Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), or Waiver services,
are designed to facilitate an individual’s goal of
living more independently. G & G Living Centers, Inc.
assists individuals to achieve their maximum physical, social
and psychological potential and quality of life. HCBS placement
is available for individuals with an approved waiver slot
and diagnosis of mental retardation. G & G Living Centers,
Inc. offers a variety of services to meet the needs of individuals
looking for HCBS services including- Supported Community
Living (SCL), Brain Injury waiver, Hourly services, Respite
care and Transportation services.
Our
highly trained HCBS program managers work closely with the
individual receiving services, the parent and/or guardian,
and the targeted Case Manager to coordinate all individualized
needs of the consumer. With primary focus on daily living
skills including- household skills, community involvement,
budgeting, cooking skills, nutrition and knowledge of individual
rights.

Residential Based Supported Community Living
Residential
Based Supported Community Living (RBSCL) services are medical
or remedial services provided to children under the age of
eighteen. The primary goal of G & G Living Center’s
RBSCL program is to empower children to develop skills to
maximize their independence and eliminate barriers to family
reunification. RBSCL placement is open to children under
the age of eighteen with an approved RBSCL slot.
Personalized
service plans are developed to meet the needs of the individual
receiving services with skill development focused on nutrition,
recreation, leisure activities and family reunification.
G & G Living Center’s highly trained staff receive
specialized training annually to meet the needs of the children
receiving services in the RBSCL program. G & G Living
Centers, Inc. is licensed by the state of Iowa as an RBSCL
provider. The program is regulated by the Iowa Department
of Inspections and Appeals and the Iowa Department of Health & Human
Services.
